The Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University School of Medicine is seeking a Program Manager/Administrative Services Administrator 1 at 50% FTE to administer and support The HEARD Alliance project. The goal of the project is to leverage ongoing insights and feedback to amplify the website and Toolkit's effectiveness and create a high-impact app that addresses the critical issue of youth mental health promotion and suicide prevention. The Project Manager will be responsible for reviewing and organizing focus group data in order to make recommendation and improvements based on user experience and develop metrics to assess if the overall goals of the project are being met. This position will play a pivotal role in developing, revising, and implementing the project’s policies and procedures.

Because responsibilities will encompass comprehensive management of design, assessment, and analysis processes, this position will require proficiency in data interpretation, project coordination, and stakeholder engagement.

Duties include:

  • Independently implement, administer, and evaluate day-to-day activities of the unit, function, or program by identifying and executing tasks and objectives, making recommendations that impact policies and programs, and assigning resources to achieve the goals of the program.

  • Collect and analyze data, create reports, review, and explain trends; formulate and evaluate alternative solutions and/or recommendations to achieve the goals of the program or function.

  • Analyze and interpret policies; develop, revise, and implement procedures for program or function.

  • Represent the program or function as the key contact and subject matter expert within the department, unit, or school. Commit resources and provide information and/or training. May also represent the program or function to external/internal stakeholders and constituencies.

  • Organize and/or participate in outreach activities that may include developing communications and training, planning/promoting events and/or conferences.

  • May participate in development of budgets, monitor, and approve expenditures. May perform limited forecasting and provide recommendations that determine the budget.

  • May direct staff to perform various tasks and assignments. May also supervise staff.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

● Strong interpersonal skills, which includes experience collaborating with interdisciplinary professionals, as well as with parents and youth.

● Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google office applications (Google sheets, Google docs).

● Knowledge of psychological terminology

● Knowledge of qualitative data analysis and data interpretation software (NVivo)

● Strong project management skills

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED):

Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:

· Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks.

· Frequently stand/walk, sitting, grasp lightly/fine manipulation.

· Occasionally use a telephone.

· Rarely lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh 11-20 pounds.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

· Occasional evening and weekend hours.

· This position is based at an off-site campus location with the option of telecommuting/hybrid schedule subject to operational needs

The expected pay range for this position is $41.96 to $55.94 per hour.

Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position.
